The Cotswolds Partnership has had another successful year. Highlights include our annual Physics Factor competition for KS3 in National Science Week and our ever-popular public lecture. This year astrobiologist, Dr Lewis Dartnell, ran an Oxbridge style masterclass for our KS4 & 5 students before he delivered our annual lecture "How to survive an Apocalypse" to a packed hall. The Royal Institution trained some of our Year 12 students to run a "Maths for Physics" Masterclass series for gifted & talented primary pupils. This was a successful scheme and we will be extending it to surrounding clusters in the Autumn term. Our twilight CPD meetings are held termly and this year we have had a focus on the Core Practical aspect of the new A-level. As a cluster, we have devised an "Introduction to A-level Practical" event for our new Year 12s in September. Professor Becky Parker was the guest speaker at our summer twilight where she launched the Institute of Research in Schools project for our cluster plus other schools from the region.
