The Partnership was formed in September 2016 and aims to establish a vibrant hub which allows children access to high quality science education and experiences in this very rural location. The provision of a Phiz Lab at Dulverton Junior School is nearing completion which will allow all partnership schools to access it and its resources.
Light & Sound CPD has already been delivered to all partner schools and the fantastic resource boxes taken away so that the learning can be shared. An Astro Eve – which will allow children from across the partnership to experience a planetarium show, stargazing in our dark sky reserve and a space detectives workshop – will take place in early March 2017.
Future plans include the schools undertaking the PSQM award, a series of Robotics workshops using Wedo and hosting family learning nights.
