Leamington Spa Partnership meetings are always full of excitement and enthusiasm as teachers share projects and resources with each other, and scribble down the latest ideas and links to good CPD or free speakers. Sharing is something we do well and the confidence that has arisen from so many of our schools recently achieving silver or gold PSQM spills over into our time together.
We hold a fantastic Science Fair at Warwick University each year and have been immersed in lots of space themed learning with the Tim Peake Primary Project, Space Camps and Space Education Quality Mark (SEQM) submissions. In November, we even hosted NASA astronaut Michael Foale as he inspired children in our schools during the day and wowed a sell-out audience of 500 at the Ogden Family Learning Night at Warwick University in the evening.
With seven new primary partnerships across Warwickshire we will share our new-found confidence with subject leaders from up to 50 local schools as part of the ‘Warwickshire Primary Conference’ that we are planning for the Summer Term. Exciting days ahead!
